Most civil conflicts are taking place in very corrupt countries where control of government is an opportunity for individuals to get very rich. There's an incentive to keep fighting that comes from the fact that for many young men doing it, it is a more lucrative lifestyle than any other they can imagine. The biggest violation clearly is Vladimir Putin trying to invade and seize the territory of another sovereign country.
Foreign powers are arming and funding opposing military leaders in Sudan, who are now battling for control of the country. It’s just the latest in a line of civil conflicts worldwide that are trending longer and more complex.
