Democrats also lost a lot of seats that year in the Senate. They started out with 59 seats, so they could afford to lose an incumbent or a Senate seat here or there. That's not so true for Democrats, unless you play well in a place like Pennsylvania. So I think about Republicans in the Senate, and let's just have, let's put this conversation in place.
