The Impact of Dispersal on the Asylum System
In general surely the principle of distributing asylum seekers well evenly across the country. That's not really wrong in principle is it? It can where it works well be a pathway to integration. But that requires a level of support services to be provided when people arrive. And what we see in the UK is that dispersal isn't operating in those ways. In some cases as a result of where they're located. I saw this multiple times, the slow creeping kind of build up of forms of low-level harassment leading to sometimes more violent.
