Is Texas a Loss of Politics?

i have had friends express condolences to me about living in texas. Sometimes, like eta, i'll invite people to visit um, you know, because the housing is more fordable texas. When i invite people ot to peple, just like, why would i ever go to texas? And is sexas is a loss of is pris. It's politics aside. Ther's a lot to like about the state in terms of its culture, music, food and people. You know, everything is not summed up by the color it turns on a map on election night.
