Roxanne Jones: Politicians are not experts. They don't know how science works. Here's what you can and cannot study. We have thousands of years of human history to understand why that plan is not going to work. It seems to me a perfectly legitimate point of view. I mean, queer theory, I ain't saying it's right, I ain’t saying it's wrong. I'm just saying it's not science. And as a member of the LGBTQ community, that may be a somewhat controversial topic, but I'm gonna go with wrong. But also need to give the public some assurance that academics are going to be on the level when they deal with it
