The Importance of Adaptability in Climate Change
According to Mark Pelling, who is a geographer at King's College London, there are three levels of climate adaptation that we can think about. Level one is resilience, level two is transition, and level three is transformation. Resilience has become a huge buzzword over the last, I guess maybe 20 years,. You often hear about resilience in the context of cities and urban planning and that kind of thing. We really want those ecosystems around us to be resilient because if they're not it means they can die back.
