I don't think it quite manages to straddle that line between justifying elitism and a kind of distaste for the popular. It doesn't create, I mean, you actually do care about the posh characters in Wyndham. Oh, well, my reaction to it was more positive in that I did kind of believe in this world. But I did also feel that it's very unusual to have something so tremendously snobbish as the overarching stretch of it. In Wyndham, you feel the sort of the joy, the elation that Wyndham has,. The idea that this catastrophe is going to wipe away these awful middle-class moories.
