The TRC Created the Chance for Forgiveness and New Beginnings
The TRC held events in major cities all across Canada. People could walk through educational displays and attend classes on the history of the residential schools. Non-Indigenous and Indigenous Canadians listened to the stories of people who experienced the residential school system. The discussions could help indigenous and non-Indigenous people work together to change Canada's current culture and laws.
