I think Michael Cartese was the first director I started to notice that name kept coming up on these films because it was so frequently yeah. Raul Walsh and of course Manelli who did the MGM musicals and and so many other film that those are the people I really admireThese are the guys that threw the switch like I feel like as a kid just learning to love movies watching them on TV we talked about this before when you know you didn't have a choice there were four channels if it had a gun you would watch it because it wasn't some sappy romance.
