The Future of Education

The middle section of the book is a selection of case studies that think about how surveillance works in education and in digital universities. The author wanted to show how different futures come into play at different times because of the context around them. So, for example, as you say, the chapter that's about MOOC's massive open online courses was emerged from a project that happened in sort of 2013, 2014. And really, I think that what the chapters do as a whole is surface the creative and imaginative nature of the futures that are getting made through speculative projects.
