The Importance of Being Good Enough
I was an assistant coach with the team in Athens and we had a pretty good Olympics by all accounts. We ended up beating Greece in the quarter final in Greece. And then, you know, the middle round, we got waxed by Brazil and then got beat up pretty good by Russia. So you get sent on your way home without any hardware and, and a little bit of a sour taste in your mouth to be honest. It wasn't like I was a lock to, to be the next head coach.
