Adrian: For me, the question is finding a junction or connection between philosophy and psychoanalysis. I think both Freud and Laconas especially and Marx are putting forward or building everything they say respectively on a certain philosophical anthropology. That is why I think it's still topical today. In spite of any possible criticism of this course in politics, if you wish, of clinical psychoanalysis, it's a praxis. It gives you an empirical anchoring starting from which ontology, political theory and ethics acquire a new layer or at least a productive complication.
