Diving in Saltwater
Tina was carrying over 20 pounds, or nine kilos, of weight. The amount a diver carries on either a weight belt or in pockets within their b c d is dependent on the diver's size and height. Tina should have been carrying about eight pounds of weight, not 20. She had more than twice the amount she should have. It's well known that when going from fresh water diving to salt diving you need to add more weight. But to put 20 pounds on tina was either irresponsible or deliberate.
