The Secret Service Agent said it happens to people from all walks of life, all ages. The criminals are patient and will take as many months as it takes till they feel like it's appropriate to come in for the kill. Be very, very careful buying stuff of unknown origin from unknown sellers unless it's so little money that you don't care if you have to walk away from it. That's all you can do is be a helper.
