The Black Youth and Assimilation by Nadal Ceser
The first issue of le turdiant noir was published in March 19 35. The journal had formerly been called le tudien martinique, the martinique student. Nadal ceser launches a very direct attack on the desire to be like white people. He claims that while the tribe of the elders remain oriented towards assimilation, the youth reject this and say instead, resurrection.
