I found people specifically in London to not be very helpful to me when I needed basic health directions and things like that. People were a little bit less patient here. My general impression of people here in the UK is they seem very cold and unfriendly, then if usually, generally, if you ask them a question, they'll instantly be happy and helpful and friendly.
