The Power of Choice
In every difficulty, all distress and each perplexity you face, Christ calls to you and gently says, my brother, choose again. What I find really interesting about this is it's a combination of two things. One is when we're facing a difficulty, it's because something, some past mistakes, some lesson we failed to learn is coming back up in the present. And that fits the pattern that we've seen again and again in these passages of we create our mess, but then God has a response to that. His response is always some form of helping us out of it, helping us to correct our error.
