The Potential of the SAA Test for Parkinson's Disease
I've been saying that this is primarily research tool now and that it has a potential to be diagnostic. It probably isn't going to replace existing diagnostics you know like a thorough neurologic exam which is still the best diagnostic test for Parkinson's disease or ancillary test like a Datscan but in the future it may. One thing that we didn't do in our study because it's cross-sectional but it's possible that the SAA results provide some information about prognosis.
