Stonehenge Soet - The Blue Stones

The very first stones thought to have been erected at the stonehenge soet are the blue stones. What we actually mean by the term blue stone is not that the stones were blue, but that they were not the later and more iconic and famous sarcon stones due to their balancing tricks. The blue stones are the ones which scientists talk about as the ones transported to the sight from many miles away. Some time during the first half of the third millennium b c e, it is believed that a ring of comparatively small blue stones were erected at stonehenge. It is not until around 600 years later that we start seeing the emergence of the famous stone works that we know of to day.
