How Far Away Is It From Music?

The idea of being able to edit the click of a button, which you couldn't in the past is what pretty much created all this quote unquote,. quote unquote pseudo photographers for the whole social media expansion. So for music, it feels like it shouldn't be that far away. But as it stands now, I still think a lot of this stuff is going to be MIDI based. And then you put the sounds on top kind of thing. It's not exactly just like having like raw audio files to other raw audio files. Not sure how far away we are from that.
