The Future of Social Bots

The New York Times uses a bot to post articles every time an article is written. The anonymity that's provided by Twitter allows for all sorts of beneficial uses even by activists and people in countries where the government is repressive. A lot of times those same things afford problematic uses as well, including terrorists can also use bots.
