When Marilyn Monroe moved to California, the Roosevelt was actually her official resident. Her one request was that a full length mirror be placed in her room. She's also been seen wandering around the hotel like outside of the mirror and inside of her favorite rooms while she was living there. Now it's said to be in storage somewhere.
