The Unsexed Queen and Lady McBeth
Lady McBeth has this idea at least in her mind that she definitely views McBeth's waffling on killing the king as kind of a feminine thing. At one point she's even saying for him to be king she would take her own child and basically kill it. It's interesting because you wonder where does the switch flip exactly. And her with McBeth it's kind of understandable. Once you do something like that, once you cross the Rubicon it kind of makes sense. You can get really callous towards that. But from her perspective it's interesting that at some point she sort of in some sense regains her humanity in some way. I mean not fully
