The Highest Court in the Land
John L. Wood tweeted a picture from outside the window of the 8th Circuit, which is on the 27th floor in St. Louis. It's an interesting appellate question: What counts as the ground when you're talking about the highest court in the land? The 10th Circuit's Denver courtroom beats them all because the altitude there is just so high.
