The Healing Project
Stafan creates a project in which people literally make a mend. For example, there's someone he knew in prison who was a drunk driver responsible for a v vehicular homicide. What stafan arranges, and the family accepts it, is for that man to set aside a portion of his earnings, or for as long as it takes, to educate the children of the woman he killed. So it's a practical way to make amends. And those are deep human emotions. You can never really address that loss. But it's an acknowledgment that at least people want to try, want to try to do something to go forward and making amends.
