The Pros and Cons of Buying VIX Futures

Bank of America's Andreas Stenos Larson says the U.S. is heading toward a more permanent, easier money policy. That would be good news for interest rates, sensitive assets and crypto - but it could also mean recession around the corner. To get VIX exposure you have to buy futures or call butterfly type structures that take advantage of upside vol on VIX being expensive.
