Sam and Marilyn Reese
Sam and Marilyn were mirror images. The high school dream boy and dream girl drawn to each other's perfection. Sam soon joined Marilyn at Cleveland Heights High, where he was a noted scholar and athlete. In the fall of 1941, Marilyn left Ohio for upstate New York to study at Skidmore College. They wrote each other daily, and Sam's friends even nicknamed him Skidmore.
