Audible's Digital Rights Management
Author Corey Doctorow is running a Kickstarter campaign so that he won't have to publish his most recent book with Audible. He doesn't want all audiobooks under the control of a single company, especially since Amazon is known for ringing margin out of its suppliers. Authors can and should check out the audio book publishers association as a starting point because it works to educate authors about these possibilities.
