The Basilisk: The Omen of Death
The opposite of a homunculus is a basilisk, which comes from the menstrual blood of women. The alchemists could have been tapping into something that we're missing today. It's like going to one restaurant and then going to another restaurant and diving in the dumpster. Mark: I think it plays into what I've been talking about this whole time That there maybe is a level of existence, a layer of reality that we're not able to tap into because we're solely acting upon what we can see and observe.
