Directing on Set I've Learned That Less Directing Can Be Better

I've learned that that often less directing can be can be better I think I began initially sort of thinking in my mind well what a director does on set is you know I've got to go in there and sort of every take give the actors five paragraphs. And so we were just about to start fully kind of hardcore prepping when in March 2020 when the town shut down. There was about a year gap almost exactly a year before we started Prep prep for Babylon. So most spent looking at self or reaching out to people to put themselves on tape with various actors  for someone to play an ensemble role but also all the smaller parts as well.
