The Importance of Persuasion

The most fundamental political hope is for safety, like all cindraand that's why everybody always wants to talk about free speech and council culture. I think we overrate the importance actuy of persuasion, and underrate the importance of simply holding a kind of space that people feel relatively safe in. What doesn't get you high scoring points in a lot in metea right now is holding an uncertain space where a lot of people can be tentative. Like what works? Its certainty. It's drawn lines. It's the dunk.
