My Grandmother's House
The house was two stories with a basement and attached garage that had a room above it, the same size as the garage itself. I would regularly find toys at the edge of this forest, half submerged in the dirt. Throughout her life, my mother came to find that people she would later regard as evil were inexplicably drawn to the house. She fully believe the house sat on some kind of portal or that long dead things were feeding on the negativity.
