Gesture Mirroring the Structure of Language

Am anchiis this example with english and turkish, but it works in french as well. One of my favorite examples of gesture mirroring the structure of language is from a talk that i saw by susan goldenmeadow a couple of years ago. And then if you get turkish speakers to do the gesture, or french speakers in those languages, rather than have so in English, we have the verbs roll and down. It's excitingly new for people to be able to go back and sae what people did,. ah, and being able to share that with other people.
