i am, more than ever in the last couple of years, feeling my age verse my students. And like their world, there used to be a main stream pop culture that youa always sort of tap into. There's so many sub cultures and so many parallel universes now. If i get lucky, i'll catch a little tick to catch phrase that's popular for a week but by the time i caught on, it's old. I wa iknow hat you mean? I wa theres a whole world of of utubus influences that are massive stars,. But if i walked past them in the street, i wouldn't know who they were at all.
