Christmas Trees - A Christmas Tradition

The oldest christmas tree market was apparently in strasburg, just over the current german border in france, in the seventeenth century. There were fifteenth century laws put in place at one point to limit the number of trees per household. The tradition didn't travel from germany to england till the final quarter of the eighteenth century.
