Introduction
After a little hiatus we have back with us Dr. Jacqueline Galvin who as all Aqrac listeners should know by now is the director of the Obianesthesia Fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago. This is going to be part one of a two-part mini series on problems during pregnancy. The United States has a reported incidence of about 16 in 1000 pregnancies. Some risk factors that are notable that are easy to obtain on a history and physical include pelvic inflammatory disease otherwise known as PID, previous ectopic pregnancies, prior tubal surgeries, IUD utilization and assisted reproductive technologies.
