I think it's striking what the debate about politics in Europe is far to the right of the debate in the United States. There was this sort of interesting desire for a lot of my mark and followers to sort of self-flagellate. And if you somehow call in doubt that we're worse than other people, then you're attacking a basic piece of how I see the world.
