Rep. Patrick McHenry: I think the Department of Justice is well within its rights and will assert its right not to respond to inquiries that will undermine individual ongoing investigations. He says there's no way really, as we've learned over the course of the last few years, for the Congress or a particular House subcommittee to enforce even a subpoena against the Justice Dept. "I believe strongly in the oversight function of Congress over every agency in government," he said.
