Australia's Political System Is Shifting

I've observed over the years a vicious cycle within political parties, particularly on the centre right. I think pre-selection is the greatest danger to the Liberal Party and probably the major parties. If the membership becomes out of step with its community, so too will be its candidates. The Teal Independence mobilise thousands of volunteers in each of the electorates they won. My concern is when are you going to be in a cabinet? Because while I do love the House of Representatives ... the big decisions are made by governments.
