The Side Effects of the Plague in Europe
The main entry point was Sicily Specifically the port city of Messina. The plague made Such a long journey without killing everyone on board these ships from Kafa to Sicily Equally likely is that the plague spread simply because of how sea travel was done in those days See back then most sailors found the act of traveling out of the site of land to be psychologically disturbing Which meant that most ships sailed along the coast where land could easily be seen I'm very afraid of the ocean.
