The Importance of Requirements
I hesitate to say requirement. My old friend, mentor, colleague is Alistair Coburn. It used to say, well, a requirement is just another name for a decision. So college under requirement means a shut up and do it your dull. I had a recent experience with a team where the digital people were keen to talk about the product. But then the IT management took over and their objective was to shut down conversation on everything. The characteristic of that service provider's posture is we are not responsible for the outcome. And so we can't behold culpable that it's not a good problem.
