Putting Symbols on Astrological Images Isn't a Good Idea

Just because Aquinas thought the stars could influence things on earth at didn't mean that he thought everything you could do with them was ok. Some people were making what they called astronomical images. These were physical objects that they had carved or painted astron or written astrological symbols on and that's what made them astronomical. And the symbols supposedly let you channel power from the stars. aquinas said that that was superstitious, because the symbols were artificial,. So as a result, astronomical images don't any special power from the fact you put symbols on them. Any added power they might have thus isn't coming from the stars and i and it's also not coming from god or the angels.
