The Evolution of Knowledge Through Hypertext

With the rise of hypertext, there's been this pathological amplification of polymerization. But for science that didn't get attached to political polarization, I'm not seeing an increase in polarization. So what that says to me is that the polarizing pathologies of hypertext are not general. There's something specific to the political argumentation nature that has enabled the hypertext to feed its pathological polarization. And outside of that, our evolution of knowledge is actually getting more healthy, is accelerating, is not being held back by those pathologies.
