Investigators also looked for associations between microbiome data and occurrence of febrile neutropenia during archop treatment. They found a significant enrichment for enterobacteria chia in patients who did experience febriled neutropenie on archop treatment as compared to those who didn't. These findings could pave the way for the development of biomarkers and therapies focused on the microbiota in DLBCL, they say.
