The Evolution of Domestication

Every example we've given so far of domestication has been one species domesticating another. Right. But there are two species of animals that have undergone self-domestication. They have domesticated themselves. And usually these are socially beneficial traits, like empathy and pro-social behavior in a highly social animal. Okay. We're going to talk about how that happens and what that means.
