Is There a Limit to Autonomy?

Dimentia is the next kind of group to fall in my view of human beings that are deemed non persons because they don't have rationality, self awareness and autonomy. A woman with mild dementia asked for physician assistent suicide but was killed anyway by a doctor who had drugged her coffee. Why would we respect one autonomists decision or say that was autonomous and the other one is not? It gets it to the heart of what i'm arguing, and in much of my work in bio ethics,. That really what what happens when we respect certain kinds of autonomy and reject others, is a vision of the good its being smuggled in anyway.
