People simply follow their preferences. In certain areas, ye, perhaps it's close to that 50 50 split, bhat in other areas, do to that big sex difference. And i agree with you that, some people get caught in, caught up in thinking that there's just one factor, you know, that magic bullet. But even then, that doesn't mean that there aren't other variables that are relevant. Like interest in in people versus things, or organic versus inorganic,. That go a long ways toward explaining at least ten to 15 % of the variants in occupational preferences.
