Using a VIM Emulation Mode to Write Python Code?

VS code seems like the natural successor to Adam. It has excellent Python integration, but also because it has a lot of like Facebook builds that we used to have on top of Adam called new Clyde. And so VS code has the better sort of like broader language support where it's like, there's some days where I just have to write a bash script and I want it to be able to do nice things for bash or use it as a markdown editor and it has a markdown preview, things like that.
