The Importance of the Dream in Psychoanalysis
Psychoanalytic reading is not about the content. It's about the form, the structure of the dream. What what the dream tells you is actually that you enjoy the argument with your partner. And in that moment, and this is very key, I think for psychoanalysts is when you go to an analyst, you go with a symptom. A symptom is always the manifestation of a contradiction. So maybe I went to the analyst because I have a bad relationship with my partner. And this comes out in that dream. That's the symptom. The solution is the arguments.
