The Construction Camps of the Antonine Wall
Construction camps would have housed soldiers who were building something. There's probably more of them than we recognize or interpret as such. They are in sigts that are key points in the landscape when you're actually thinking about how to lay out the wall. So a couple of them are next to some of the really early forts that were built on the wall. And again, it's possible that the construction kers for that fort were actually housed within the fort whilst they were building it.
